You can poll several fax machines one at a time with a single serial polling operation.

A maximum of 100 fax machines can be polled in one serial polling operation.

Follow these steps to use the serial polling function:

1 Press the [MENU] key.

4 Press the [ENTER] key.

Repeat steps 3 and 4 until all numbers have been entered. After entering the last number, go to step 5.

2 Press the [] key () or [] key () until "9:SERIAL POLL MODE" appears, and then press the [ENTER] key.

3 Dial the number of the fax machine you want to poll using one of the following methods:

Press a Rapid Key or a Group Key.

Press the [SPEED/SEARCH] key and enter a two-digit Speed Dial number.

Enter a fax number with the numeric keys.

5 Press the [START] key ( ).
