To Ensure Safe Use of This Unit

Be sure to read the safety precautions for the following items to ensure safe use of the document recorder.

Preparing a Location

The capabilities of document recorder might be affected by the environment in which it is installed. Make sure that its location satisfies the following environmental conditions.

Be sure that there is enough space around the document recorder for operation, maintenance and ventilation as shown in the illustration below.

The document recorder should not be exposed to direct sunlight. If this is unavoidable, install heavy curtains on the windows.

Do not locate the document recorder in dusty locations. Dust entering the document recorder may adversely affect internal components.

AMMONIA

Do not place the document recorder near locations subject to high temperature and humidity (e.g., water faucets, water heaters, humidifiers), or near locations subject to ammonia gas or other corrosive gases, or paint thinner.
