Chapter 4. Using the CD-4070NW

The paper side guide is inscribed with a loading limit mark ( ). This mark indicates the total thickness of approximately 100 sheets of plain paper for recording (80 g/m2). Do not place documents above this mark. Otherwise, this may result in a paper jam.

6 Place the document face up, then adjust the paper side guides to match the width of the document.

7 Specify the recording name press [Start].

For information on how to specify the recording name, see “CD-R Document Recoder CD-4070NW Instructions (Software Version).”

Recording starts.

NOTE

If feeding stops while recording due to a system error or paper jam, resolve the problem, confirm that the last document page fed was correctly recorded, and then continue recording.

Take care that documents with low paper thickness do not fall from the document eject tray.

8 When no more document pages remain.

If you selected [Standard] Feeding:

Recording ends when no more document pages remain, and the document image is displayed.

If you selected [Auto] Feeding:

Recording is suspended. Recording continues if a document is loaded and detected. Automatic feeding can be repeated until you press [Abort].
