Chapter 4. Using the CD-4070NW

Manual Feeding

5 Adjust the paper side guides to match the width of the document you are going to scan. If you are recording standard size documents, align the document with the document positioning mark.

6 Specify the recording name press [Start]. For information on how to specify the recording name, see “CD-R Document Recorder CD-4070NW Instructions (Software Version).”

7 Place one sheet face up with the top inserted into the document recorder. The sheet starts to feed immediately.

NOTE

Particularly thin documents or curled documents are sometimes not fed successfully. If this happens, hold down the leading edge of the document with your hand when placing them for scanning, or make copies on a copier and feed the copy into the document recorder.
