CHAPTER 4 OPTIONS

ADDITIONAL MEMORY

This printer has 2 MBytes of standard memory and a slot for optional additional memory. The memory can be expanded up to 10 MBytes by installing a commercially available single in-line memory module (SIMM).

Note

In some countries, 6MBytes standard model is available.

Additional memory is useful and may be necessary if you are using the optional BR-Script 2 emulation or Page Protection function. ( For details about Page Protection, see Chapter 3 “Other Features”.)
