The following message appears on the panel display.
“Ready” appears on the panel dis- play.
Comm. Mode: *Ad hoc
G Press {U} or {T} to select the transmission mode.
H Press {Enter #}.
The display returns to the previous menu in a few seconds.
I Set "Trans. Speed" and "WEP Set- tings" in the same way.

J If "Ad hoc" is selected for "Comm. Mode", set the channel to use for transmission.

❖Subnet Mask
A number used to mathematically “mask” or hide an IP address on the network by eliminating those parts of the address that are alike for all the machines on the net- work.
❖Gateway Address
A gateway is a connection or inter- change point that connects two networks. A gateway address is for the router or host computer used as a gateway.
