View HCS6300 System Information

1.Access the HCS6300 Main Menu as described on the previous page.

2.At the [Main] Command > prompt, type info and press Enter to display HCS6300 hard- ware and software information.

The System Information display contains important information about the HCS6300, including the unit hardware ID (firmware version), software versions, IP address, MAC address, and serial number, for example:

Set HCS6300 RF Channels

1.Access the HCS6300 Main Menu as described on the previous page.

2.At the [Main] Command > prompt, type rf and press Enter.

3.At the Enter the start channel number [2 - 132] > prompt, type the appropriate start channel number and press Enter.

The remaining channels will be automatically assigned per EIA-542 STD CATV frequency allocation standards, and the system will display the channel assignments (i.e., the Channel Map) for the card slots (see example under “Print the RF Channel Map” below).

Print the RF Channel Map

1.Access the HCS6300 Main Menu as described on the previous page.

2.At the [Main] Command > prompt, type mrf and press Enter to display the current Channel Map, for example:
