Deleting timer programming

>To delete an existing timer setting, use the up/down arrow keys to mark the setting.

>Press the green function key Delete.

A prompt will be displayed:”Do you really want to dele- te this timer?”

>Use the left/right arrow keys to select Yes.

>To delete the timer entry confirm by pressing OK.

Programming a new timer event

>To programme a new timer event, use the up/down arrow keys to mark a free line in the menu Timer overview.

>Press the yellow function key New to open a win- dow for the programming of the new timer event. Now enter the data as described in Point 7.15.1.2.

>Use the up/down arrow keys to mark the additional field Type.

>Confirm by pressing OK. A window will be displayed, showing the available timer types.

>Use the up/down arrow keys to select the desired timer type.

>To accept the timer type into memory, confirm by pres- sing OK.

>When you have completed the programming, press the yellow function key Accept to accept the data into memory.

Note!!!

Please ensure that the receiver has stored the current time in memory. This will by shown on the display when the unit is in standby mode. If this is not the case, switch your receiver on, and leave it tuned to a major channel such as ZDF that car- ries a time signal for approx. 30 seconds, so that the current time can be stored in memory.

If you have activated this function in terms of Point 6.2.4, the receiver should now show the current time on the display while in standby mode.

Timeshift function

The timeshift function provides the opportunity of simultane- ous recording and playback. This means that you can now enjoy timeshift television. Thus, you can view the beginning of a recording, and decide to skip certain parts, such as advertising. At the same time the recording of the live signal continues (see examples below)
