While the automatic adjustment is in progress, the message Autofocus will be displayed. (Fig. 9-13)

9.3.3 Saving a satellite position

NWhen the Autofocus function has been completed, you can proceed to save the satellite position in memory.

>Use the arrow keys to mark the field Save.

>Press OK.

Now the test transponder selected will check whether a signal is being received at this position. At the same time, the system will check whether the position to be saved is one that is already included in the pre-pro- gramming. (Fig. 9-14)

If this is the case, the message will be displayed:

Orbital position xx found. Save satellite ? (Fig. 9-15)

>To save the satellite position in memory, use the left/right arrow keys to mark the field Yes, and confirm by pressing OK.

If the check carried out by the test transponder does not recognise a position as being included in the pre- programming, or if the signal is too weak, an appropri- ate message will be displayed on screen.

9.4 Current satellite list

The satellite positions that have been saved in memory can be found in the satellite list. Positions that have not yet been saved are indicated in the list by an “*”.

>To turn the antenna dish to a position in the satellite list, use the arrow keys to mark the field Current satellite list.

>Confirm by pressing OK.

>Use the up/down arrow keys to select the desired position.

>Confirm by pressing OK.

The dish will now be turned to the selected position. While the positioning procedure is in progress, the blinking message “turn” will be displayed in the menu.

9.4.1 Selecting a satellite position

In order to turn the dish antenna to the position specified in the satellite list, your digital receiveris equipped with the fun- ction turn to Sat.
