For setting video signal recording and playback.

B/W

COLOR

0: For using monochrome signals.

 

1: For using color signals.

 

To use monochrome signals for recording and

 

playback, set this item to the B/W mode. To use

 

normal color signals, set it to the COLOR mode.

 

If color signals are recorded in the B/W mode, the

 

playback images will appear with abnormal colors.

N-MUTE

This selects whether the video signals are to be muted

LOW-RF

during playback under low RF conditions or when the

 

servo lock is disengaged.

 

0: Video signals are not muted.

BLANK

1: Video signals are muted.

This selects ON or OFF for the closed capture signal in

THRU

the first field.

 

0: Signal is forcibly blanked.

BLANK

1: Signal is not blanked.

This selects ON or OFF for the closed capture signal in

THRU

the second field.

 

0: Signal is forcibly blanked.

 

1: Signal is not blanked.

AUTO

This selects the video signal processing.

NSTD

0: Mode is set automatically according to the input.

 

1: Mode is forcibly set to nonstandard mode.

FIELD This selects which type of freeze mode is to be FRAME established for the still picture during PLAY PAUSE or

frame advance.
