E Select the TV system.

Press rt to place the pointer next to the appropriate TV system (refer to the table below).

F Start Auto Channel Set

Press OK or e.

DO NOT press any button on the unit or remote control while Auto Set Up is in progress.

●Receivable channels in your area are automatically assigned to the PR +/– buttons, and non-receivable channels are skipped.

●As Auto Set Up progresses, the “q” mark on the TV screen moves

from left to right.		AUTO CH SET
● When Auto Set Up is completed,		PLEASE WAIT
the lowest position number will
appear on the front display	START	FINISH

NO SIGNAL–” is displayed on the TV screen, make sure that the

aerial cable is connected to the unit properly and press OK on the remote control. The unit will try Auto Set Up again.

NOTES:

●If there is a power cut, or if you press 1 or SET UP MENU while Auto Set Up is in progress, Auto Set Up will be interrupted; be sure to turn off the unit power once and try again from step A.

●If no sound accompanies the picture or the audio sounds unnatural on some channels that have been stored by Auto Set Up, the TV system setting for those channels may be incorrect.

Select the appropriate TV system for those channels.

ATTENTION

If you perform Auto Set Up successfully during installation, there's no need to separately perform the Clock Set or Channel Set procedures, but if adjustments become necessary, they can be performed as follows:

●Clock setting  pg. 87

After “Auto Set Up” is completed, perform “Monitor Set (DVD deck)” on page 18.
