Internal Access

OPENING THE ZX STATION

One of the many design features of the ZX Station is the ease of access to the inside of the processing unit. To open the ZX Station in the rack, perform the following steps:

Be sure the power switches on the front and back are off. Disconnect all the cables from the back of the ZX Station to their respective units.

Remove the four pancakehead Phillips screws on the bottom of the ZX Station (upper two and lower right two).

Remove the four ovalhead Phillips screws on the corners of the front panel and sliding the ZX Station all the way out.

Remove the six panhead Phillips screws on the sides of the top lid.

Slide the ZX Station out until reaching the safety stop.

Remove the two pancakehead Phillips screws on the top front of the ZX Station lid.

Disconnect cables to
