1Engage the mode you want to lock (such as the Rec or Play mode).

2While pressing the [LOCK] button, press the [TIME MODE+/–] button. “LOCK” is shown on the display, indicating that the Operation Lock mode is engaged.

3To unlock the VCR, press the [TIME MODE+/–] button while pressing the [LOCK] button. The “LOCK” indication on the display disappears and the unit can now be operated normally.
