6Set the day of the week (SAT).

Press the [SET +/–] button to set the day of the week to “SAT”.

7Set the hour for the start time (8).

Press the [SHIFT f] button so that “hour” for “START” blinks. Press the [SET +/–] button to set the hour of the start time to “8”.

8Set the minute for the start time (00).

Press the [SHIFT f] button so that “minute” for “START” blinks. Press the [SET +/–] button to set the minute of the start time to “00”.

9In the same way, set the hour (17) and minute (00) for the stop time.

*When the stop time is earlier than the start time or the same as the start time, “T” is added to the beginning of the stop time, showing that the stop time is for the next day.

0Set the recording speed mode (H/D 24).

Press the [SHIFT f] button so that “SPD” blinks and press the [SET +/–] button to set the recording speed to (H/D 24).

*When the HIGH DENSITY REC mode is selected, H/D is shown for “SPD”.

! Set the program item.

Press the [SHIFT f] button so that “PGM” blinks and

set the program item with the [SET +/–] button.

1ST: Timer recording is executed only once on the most

recent specified day of the week (Saturday).

RPT: Timer recording is executed on the specified day

of the week (Saturday) every week.

OFF: Programmed timer recording is not executed.

[The TIMER indication and effective timer-recording programmed numbers light on the display and the operating mode is automatically turned off to engage the Timer-Recording Standby mode.
