Shuttle search (reverse and fast-forward) playback

Press the [FF] button or [REW] button in the Play mode to engage the Fast-Forward Shuttle Search mode or Reverse Shuttle Search mode.

Press the [FF] button during play.

The fast-forward search indicator is shown on the display and the Fast-Forward Shuttle Search mode is engaged.

Press the [REW] button during play.

The rewind search indicator is shown on the display and the Reverse Shuttle Search mode is engaged.

• The operation varies depending on how the [FF] or [REW] button is pressed. Refer to the table below for details.
