General Operations

Turning the power On/Off

Setting the Clock

Press the PWR to turn the unit On or Off.

Volume Level Control and Memory

Rotate the VOL dial to adjust the volume.

It is also possible to set turn-on volume level by following the procedure explained below.

1. Rotate the VOL dial until it is set at the required volume.

Volume up

Volume down

2. Press the PWR for two or more seconds. The power will be switched off and the current volume level recorded.

Muting the sound

Press MUTE / SENS .

The R-ch/L-ch Level Meter flashes.

To restore the previous volume level, press MUTE / SENS again.

The clock uses a 12-hour display system.

3. Press and hold the DISPLAY for more than two seconds to enter the Clock setting mode.

4. Use the following buttons and dial to set the clock. (The blink- ing section can be adjusted.)

AUDIO

: To activated Hour blink

MUTE / SENS

: To activated Minute blink

 

: Adjust the Hour and minute

5. Press the DISPLAY

momentarily to complete the Clock set-

ting mode.

 

Ignition-off Clock Recall

The display will illuminate showing the time and then auto- matically shut off after 5 seconds.

Press the

DISPLAY

while the ignition switch is in the “ OFF ”

 

position.

 

 

Display Priority Selector

Each time the DISPLAY is pressed, the display window will change as shown below ;

•Radio mode Frequency and Clock.

•CD mode

Elapsed time and Clock.
