14 INSTALLING OPTIONS

SO-2 TEMPERATURE-COMPENSATED

7 Cut the leads of the R503 and R504 resistors.

CAUTION: SWITCH OFF THE POWER AND UNPLUG THE DC

POWER CABLE BEFORE BEGINNING INSTALLATION.

Remove the bottom case (8 screws).

Remove the protective cover installed on the PC

board (6 screws).

 

 

 

8 Insert the SO-2 unit into the specified position on the

 

 

PC board.

3Remove the 13 screws that fasten the PC board to

the chassis.

4Remove the clamp that fastens the heat sink to the chassis.

5Remove the cable from the CN1 connector.

6Take the CN1 connector cable off the cable holder.

9 Turn the PC board over.

• Be careful not to damage the flat cables connected to the PC board, and not to drop the SO-2 unit.

10Solder the five pins of the SO-2 unit to the PC board, then cut off the SO-2 pins extruding from the PC board.

11Re-position the PC board.

12Re-install the 13 screws on the PC board.

13Re-install the protective cover on the PC board (6 screws).

14Re-position the clamp.

Be careful with the orientation of the clamp. See the drawing in step 4.

15Reconnect the cable to the CN1 connector.

16Pull the CN1 connector cable, and lock it using the cable holder.

17Replace the bottom case (8 screws).
