Display (pp. 109-112)

Wallpaper: Sets the wallpaper for the Standby display.

Character Input: Changes the input

 

mode and character size,

 

and enables editing of pre-

 

defined text or smileys.

Power Saving: Sets the idle time for

 

the power saving display.

Light:

Sets the light durations for

 

the display backlight and

 

the keypad backlight.

Standby Display: Sets wallpaper, time,

 

and display greeting.

LED:

Customises the LED colour

 

pattern for missed calls,

 

unread messages and

 

alarms.

Phone Settings (pp. 112-121)

Set Time & Date: Sets the clock.

Ringtones: Sets ringtones to incoming calls or messages.

Melody Volume: Sets the melody volume.

Line 2: Switch between two phone lines if you have this extra service. (See p. 115)

Flight Mode Setting: Cuts off the line with the phone switched on.

Language: Sets the display language and the answering language.

Accessibility: Makes the display more visible and the phone more audible.

Select Network: Selects the network area.

WAP Profiles: Displays a list of the stored WAP profiles to select and edit them.

Sound Effects: Customises effect tones for various situations.

Vibrate on Connection: Vibrates to confirm the line connection.

Video Call Tone: Sets a melody to sound until the caller answers.

Auto Power ON/OFF: Turns the phone on or off at the time you set.

Slide Activation: Answers or ends a call by sliding the phone open or closed.

Browser Settings (pp. 121-123)

Downloads: Disables images, sounds, or other files that are loaded automatically when you download a web page.

Look & Feel: Selects the character size, text wrap, scroll step and internet connection time out.

Security: Selects various security settings for browsing.

Certificate: Selects the current certificate or root certifi- cate.

Advanced: Selects if you want to show the title of the page while browsing or selects to convert service messages that load automatically into requests for service messages, or ignore any WAP based service inquiries.

Connectivity (pp. 167-186)

Infrared: Sends or receives files via Infrared.

Bluetooth: Sends or receives files via Bluetooth.

Synchronise: Synchronises files with another device or a network server.
