Bluetooth settings

1Open the Bluetooth Settings display.

Press O Bluetooth Bluetooth Settings

Keeping your S750i from being detected by another Bluetooth enabled device

This function enables your S750i (while in the Bluetooth mode) to be undetect- able by another Bluetooth device. This feature is useful to prevent unwanted connections from an unknown device.

1Select Visibility from the Bluetooth Settings display and press O.

2Select Hidden and press O.

To release the setting, select Always Visible (the default) or Visible for 3Min.

While Visibility is set to Always

Visible or Visible for 3Min. in

the Bluetooth mode, appears in the phone’s display.

Displaying the address ID of registered devices

1Select Connection List from the Bluetooth Settings display and press O. A list of registered devices appears.

2Select an entry, press [Options], select Device Address and press O.

For registering devices in the Connection List, see step 7 on p. 169.

Editing the names of registered devices

1Select Connection List from the Bluetooth Settings display and press O. A list of registered devices appears.

2Select an entry, press [Options], select Rename and press O.

3Edit the name and press O.

Protecting registered devices from deletion

1Select Connection List from the Bluetooth Settings display and press O. A list of registered devices appears.

2Press [Options], select Protect/ Unprotect and press O.

3Select the entry you want to protect and press O. A key icon appears to the left of the entry. Repeat for all those you want to protect.

To apply the protection, press [OK].

To release the protection, select the key icons, and press O, then press [OK] to finish.

Deleting entries of registered devices

1Select Connection List from the Bluetooth Settings display and press O. A list of registered devices appears.

2Select an entry, press [Options].

3Select Delete and press O.

4Select Delete, Delete Multiple, or Delete All and press O.

To delete multiple items, select the desired and press O

Repeat the same steps for multiple items [OK] [Yes]

To delete all items, enter the security code when prompted

[Yes]

Setting the period to search for connectable devices

1Select Search Time from the Bluetooth Settings display and press O.

2Enter a time (10 to 30 seconds) using u / d and press O.

Setting the Bluetooth Timeout for connection

You can change the Bluetooth Timeout for connection. The Bluetooth
