Setting the method to switch a video call to a voice call

If you have made a video call to a person whose phone does not have the function, you must switch to a voice call. You can set the switching method to automatic or manual.

1Open the Reconnection Method display.

Press [Menu] Video Call Settings Reconnection

Method

2Select Auto or Manual and press O.

If you select Manual, you will be asked if you want to switch to a voice call. If you select Auto the call is automatically switched to a voice call.

Setting an image to send

1Open the Image Settings display.

Press [Menu] Video Call Settings Image Settings

2Select an image setting option and press O.

Image Priority: Changes the image quality based on transmis- sion options, High Speed, Normal or High Quality.

Send Own Image: Specifies if your own image is sent to callers.

Alternate Video: Sets the alternative video to send instead of your own image.

Setting whether your voice is sent or not

1Open the Voice Setting display.

Press [Menu] Video Call Settings Voice Setting

2Select an option and press O.

ON:

Sends your voice to the

 

other party.

OFF:

Cancels sending your voice

 

to the other party.

Setting the Auto Answer for a video call

This function (available only with the use of a headset) enables you to receive video calls without touching any keys after the preset ringing time. Registering callers’ numbers is required before activating this function. For setting the Auto Answer for the voice call function, refer to “Setting the Auto Answer (Voice Call Auto Answer)”

under the Call settings section. (See p. 129.)

1Open the Auto Answer display.

Press [Menu] Video Call Settings Auto Answer

2Press [List], select New and press O.

3You can copy phone numbers from the Call History, Address Book, and so on, by pressing [Options] and selecting Get number. Use the navigation keys and O to select.

4When you finished selecting a number, a list of the registered Auto Answer numbers appears.

5Confirm the phone number is in the list and press [Done].

6Select ON and press O.
