Bluetooth® transmission
Bluetooth is a radio technology that enables you to use a wireless connection to send or exchange data such as indicated in Table 1. The phone detects all Bluetooth compat- ible devices that are turned on and set to transmittable within a maximum range of 10 metres and displays a list of them on the screen when search is used. To send data, on the receiving device activate the Bluetooth data reception mode (refer to your receiving device’s manual).
Note: No incoming calls or messages can
be received during Bluetooth transmission. Data protected by copyright or copy guards cannot be transmitted or exchanged.
Switching the Bluetooth mode on or off
Switching the Bluetooth mode on enables your S750i to receive data via Bluetooth from a paired device
automatically and provides easy connection to another Bluetooth enabled device such as a headset or PC.
•Press and hold O from the Standby
display. Make sure appears in the phone’s display (see p. 176). If you
press and hold O again, Bluetooth mode is switched off.
Notes: • This setting remains in effect after the phone is turned off and on again.
•While the phone is in Bluetooth mode power consumption is greater than when it is not.
Sending data via Bluetooth from the Media Album
Note that you must first move your SD Card data to your phone’s memory before performing the following.
1Activate Bluetooth reception mode on the receiving device.
•When using an S750i as the other device:
On the other S750i, press and hold O.
2Open Media Album folder on your S750i.
•Press [Menu] → → Picture, Video List, Melody & Ringtones or Documents → O
3Select a data item to send and press [Options].
4Select Send and press O.
5Select Send via Bluetooth and press O.
6Select Send → [Yes] → [Search]
7Select a connectable device and press O.
•If the other device is not saved in your Connection List (your list of registered devices. see p. 176) and Bluetooth Password authentication (see p. 178) is required, you will be prompted to
