COMPUTER OPERATION

P8: HEART RATE CONTROL PROGRAM

Under the SELECTING MODE press the INCLINE DOWN button to P8 then press ENTER. Select the USER using the SPEED UP/DOWN button. If you have not set up the user data yet, please do it now and follow the USER DATA SET UP procedure. Press START to begin the program. The HEART RATE CONTROL PROGRAM will be activated when the actual heartbeat reaches the minimum safety heart rate zone. After the heart rate control program is active, if the actual heartbeat does not reach the user target heart rate, the incline level will increase by 1%. The computer will scan the heart rate constantly and adjust the incline level. If the actual heart rate is over the target heart rate, the incline level will be decreased by 1%. During the workout, you can still press the INCLINE UP/DOWN button to adjust the incline level, but it will be adjusted automatically again when the computer scans the actual heart rate. During the workout, you can press the SPEED UP/DOWN button to adjust the speed at anytime during the program.

RECOVERY

The RECOVERY feature can only function when the heart rate reaches the FAT BURN ZONE. When the heart rate reaches the FAT BURN ZONE, the FAT BURN ZONE will start blinking on LCD 2. Then press the RECOVERY button and keep the pulse sensor activated. The TIME will count down 60 seconds then show your BODY RECOVERY LEVEL on LCD 2. Press any button to return to the previous workout mode.

BODY FAT

If you press the RECOVERY button without sensoring your pulse first or you are not wearing the chest belt pulse sensor after pressing the RECOVERY button, LCD 2 will show an E to indicate the sensor failed, terminate the RECOVERY feature and return to the previous workout mode.
