COMPUTER OPERATION

During the workout with the pulse sensor scanning, press the BODY FAT button and hold the pulse sensor for 8 seconds. While the computer is scanning and calculating the body fat you can see the light bar blinking on LCD 2.

After the 8 seconds or scanning is complete, the computer will show the BODY FAT % on LCD 1 and the body condition scale on LCD 2 will display the following:

If while wearing the chest belt pulse sensor after 8 seconds the computer fails, LCD 2 will display an E to indicate the BODYFAT sensor has failed and will return to the previous program.

USING THE CHEST BELT HEART RATE MONITOR:

For proper operation, the chest belt should be worn with the monitor strapped across the front of your body just above the chest line as shown in the drawing on the right. The monitor needs a little body heat and moisture in order to work properly. To ensure correct operation you may want to wet the two rubber pickups under the belt prior to exercising.
