Long-Term Storage
When the cycle is not in use for any length of time, ensure that the optional power adapter is unplugged from its power source and is positioned so that it and the power cord will not become damaged or interfere with people or other equipment.
Adjusting the Seat
To avoid knee strain, it is important that you inform your patrons about positioning the seat properly.
To check for proper seat position, be sure users take the following steps:
1.Sit on the seat.
2.Place each foot on a pedal (inside the pedal straps).
3.Observe the position of each leg. The extended leg should be slightly bent at the knee in a 10 to 15 degree angle.
If seat adjustment is needed, refer to the following instructions.
Upright Seat Adjustment
1.Dismount and hold the post underneath the seat with one hand while you pull out the seat post adjustment pin (pop pin) with the other hand. Refer to Diagram 7.
2.Slide the seat post up or down into the desired position and then release the seat post adjustment pin.
3.Before sitting on the cycle, press down firmly on the seat to make sure it does not slip. Check that the pop pin is secure inside the seat post.
