Level the cycle. Before allowing users on the cycle, make sure it does not wobble from side to side.

Height adjusters

To remove any side-to-side movement, ask your assistant to tip the unit on its side so that you can locate the two height adjusters on the front crossbar.

Turn the height adjusters until the unit does not wobble or rock from side to side.

Important: If the unit is placed on a slightly uneven surface, rotating the height adjusters can help, but will not compensate for extremely uneven surfaces.

When you are finished making adjustments, ask your assistant to gently lower the unit to the floor.

Verify that the C846i heart rate display is operational.

1.Sit on the cycle. When you are comfortably situated, begin pedaling. A pedaling above 20 revolutions per minute (RPM) must be maintained for several seconds.

2.Grasp both touch-sensitive grips on the handlebars.

3.Look at the Heart Rate display. The letters Hr should be blinking. After a few seconds, a number appears indicating your heart rate.

Note: If the display remains blank, refer to the Product Owner’s Manual for troubleshooting tips. Instructions regarding the chest strap are also found in the Product Owner’s Manual.
