Important Safety Instructions

When using the self-powered C846i/C842i cycle, always take basic precautions, including the following:

Read all instructions before using the cycle. These instructions are written to protect the unit and ensure the safety of those using the cycle.

Before beginning any fitness program, make sure all users see a physician for a complete physical examination.

DANGER To reduce the risk of electrical shock always unplug the optional power adapter before

cleaning the unit.

To reduce the risk of burns, fire, electric shock, WARNING or injury, take the following precautions:

Do not allow children or those unfamiliar with its operation on or near the cycle. Do not leave children unsupervised around the unit.

Never leave the cycle unattended with the optional power adapter plugged in. Remove the optional power adapter before cleaning the cycle, and before putting on or taking off parts.

Assemble and operate the cycle on a solid, level surface. Locate the cycle a few feet from walls or furniture.

Maintain the cycle in good working condition. Refer to the Maintenance section. Make sure that all fasteners are secure.

If you plan to move the unit, obtain help and use a hand truck. Do not grasp any plastic parts while lifting or moving the unit. The unit is too heavy and the plastic parts will break.

Use the cycle only for its intended purpose as described in this manual. Do not use accessory attachments that are not recommended by the manufacturer, as such attachments may cause injuries.

Never operate the unit if it is damaged, not working properly, when it has been dropped, or has been dropped in water. Refer to Obtaining Service.

Keep the optional power adapter and power cord away from heated surfaces.

Do not operate the cycle where aerosol (spray) products are being used or where oxygen is being administered.

Do not use outdoors.

Do not attempt to service the cycle yourself except to follow the maintenance instructions found in this manual.

Never drop or insert objects into any opening. Keep hands away from moving parts.

Do not set anything on the handrails or covers. Place liquids, magazines, and books in the appropriate receptacles.
