Before using for the first time

Preparing the washing machine

Before using the machine for the first time ensure that it is correctly installed and connected. See "Installation and connection". Also check that the drain filter is securely tightened to prevent the risk of water leaks during use.

This washing machine has undergone a complete functional test at the factory and there will be some residual water in the drum from this process.

Preparing the washing machine for use is done in six stages. The washing machine guides you automatically through steps 1. to 5.

1. Welcome screen

￿Press the ￿ button.

The welcome screen will appear in the display for 3 seconds. The display for setting the language will then appear.

The welcome screen will appear in the display every time the washing machine is switched on until a programme lasting longer than

1 hour has been completed.

2. Set the language

You will be asked to select the language you require for the display. It is possible to select another language at any time via Further programmes/ Settings ￿ in the Settings sub-menu.

￿Press the ￿ and ￿ buttons to scroll through the options until the language that you want is highlighted. Press the OK button to confirm your selection.

3. Set the time of day

The display for setting the time will then appear.

￿button to increase the hour.

￿Confirm the hour selected with the OK button. Then do the same to set the minutes.
