Installation

 

 

Mounting the PowerLogic EM4800 meter

Figure 4 shows the general mounting layout for metering 120V/208V wye

 

services, and Figure 5 shows the general mounting layout for metering

 

347V/600V wye services.

 

1.

Remove the front cover from the meter by removing the four screws

 

 

with a #2 Phillips screwdriver. Retain the cover and screws for later

 

 

re-installation.

 

2.

Mount the PowerLogic meter on the wall and secure it by inserting a

 

 

screw in each mounting keyhole and tightening the screws.

 

3.

Mount the shorting block enclosure on the wall as shown in Figures 4

 

 

and 5. Secure it by inserting a screw in each mounting keyhole and

 

 

tightening the screws.

 

4.

Install the conduit for voltage and current connections.

 

In Figure 4, the meter is powered and takes its sense voltage directly from a

 

breaker within the panel.
