Test Reminder

A test reminder message is provided for prompting the subscriber to perform a system test. They will be prompted to activate their emergency transmitter or press the HELP button on the Console. Either activation will send a test report to the Central Station.

IMPORTANT: IF USING THE TEST REMINDER MESSAGE FEATURE, TWO-WAY AUDIO SHOULD BE ENABLED SO THAT THE CENTRAL STATION CAN ACKNOWLEDGE THE TEST WITH THE SUBSCRIBER.

When the programmed system test time occurs, a reminder chime sounds and the Console announces:

0“Attention... It is time to test your personal emergency system... Please press your personal help button”

NOTE:The test announcement will repeat every three minutes regardless of the AUDIO REPLAY DURING TIMEOUT reminder message setting.

When the subscriber activates their emergency transmitter or presses the HELP button, the Console will send a test report to the Central Station, then start a two-way audio session. The Central Station operator typically acknowledges the test report with the subscriber using two-way audio, then disconnects.

If the subscriber does not activate a transmitter or press the HELP button before the reminder timeout interval has been reached, an automatic test report will be sent to the Central Station.

NOTE: If the system test reminder times out and an automatic status report is sent, a two-way audio session will NOT be started, even if two-way audio is enabled.
