Line Button Lights

Each line button has a red light and a green light next to it. These lights indicate the following:

Steady green

The line is in use, or the feature programmed onto the line

Imprinted vs. Programmed Buttons

The following buttons are imprinted on MLX-20L and MLX-28D telephones. You must program them onto 4424LD+ and 4424D+ telephones.

Button

Drop

Press Drop and a line button to disconnect the person on that line from a

 

conference call.

Feature

Press Feature to activate the Feature mode.

HFAI

Press HFAI to answer the telephone via the speakerphone without picking up

 

the receiver.

Inspect

Press Inspect and a line button to display information about the current or

 

ringing call or to see what feature is programmed onto that button.
