Incoming calls

Answering/terminating a call

An incoming call (external, internal) is signaled audibly by the ringer and visually on the display of the mobile unit.

Deactivating the ringer

u RING OFF

To answer a call

or

c

To reject a call

Press to deactivate the ringer.

With the ringer off you can still answer a call at any time when the ringer icon is visible in the display.

Either remove the mobile unit from the charging unit

Press the off-hook key if the mobile unit is not in the charging unit.

u REJECT

To terminate a call

Press to reject the call.

The calling party hears a busy tone if you reject the call. A caller using a Gigaset 1000C or 2000C is notified by the message “User busy” in the display and the announce- ment “The number you dialed cannot be reached at this time. Please call again later”.

Either press the on-hook key, if you do not want to return

athe mobile unit to the charging unit

or

Reinsert the mobile unit in the charging unit.
