Setting the idle display of the i2004 Internet Telephone

You can customize a text label to display when your telephone is idle.To set the idle display of the telephone

1Press the Config softkey.

2Highlight the Idle Display option and press the Select softkey. The display shows Set Idle Display: and a text label.

3Use the left navigation button to erase the current text and enter the text you want to display on your telephone. (For example, John’s phone.)

4Press the Ok softkey. The new text label displays on the screen when the telephone is idle.

Specifying the location

You can enter a text description of where the telephone physically resides (for example, 1st Floor Lobby).

To change the system default information for the location of your telephone

1Press the Config softkey.

2Highlight the Location option and press the Select softkey. The display shows the current location description.

3Use the left navigation button to erase the current text and enter the text you want to display on your telephone. (For example, Meeting Room.)

4Press the Ok softkey.
