To decline an incoming call without a reason

1Press the Decline softkey.

2Press the Ok softkey to decline the call. The calling party receives a busy signal.

Or press the Cancel softkey to cancel the decline. The original ringing display appears.

To decline an incoming call with a reason

1Press the Decline softkey.

2Press the Reason softkey. A selection of different text messages is displayed.

Tip: If there are no reject reasons defined then the Reason softkey will not appear on the display.

3Highlight a reason and press the Select softkey.

4Press the Ok softkey to decline the call. The calling party receives a busy signal and the reject reason appears on their display.

Or press the Cancel softkey to cancel the decline. The original ringing display appears.

Note: For information about creating or changing a list of Reject Reasons see “Adding reject reasons” on page 54. For information about setting the i2004 Internet Telephone to automatically decline all calls see “Do not Disturb (DND)” on page 66.

Ignoring a call

You can stop an incoming call from ringing (see “Setting Ignore action” on page 29 for an explanation of options) and have it handled by your ring list.

To ignore an incoming ringing call

1Press the Ignore softkey.
