3.2.7 Digit Manipulation

Digit Manipulation Testing

This option allows users to test the digit manipulation rule

 

you set.

 

 

Digit Manipulation Editor

With this option, you can specify whether to add digits to a

 

prefix number or drop a prefix number.

 

For example, if the user sets:

 

First Example

 

z

Prefix: 02 (matched prefix)

 

z

Drop: Enable (drop prefix)

 

z

Insert:

 

If the user dials 0282265699, the resulting dial out number

 

will be 82265699.

Second Example

zPrefix: 7

zDrop: Disable

zInsert: 886

If the user dials 778, the resulting dial out number will be 886778.

Third Example (Only applicable for SP5058A FXO)

zPrefix: 8226

zDrop: Disable

zInsert: 02

If the user dials 82265699, the resulting dial out number will be 0282265699.

You can configure up to 50 entries in the Digit Manipulation Editor.
