Directory

The 9120 telephone directory can store the names and telephone numbers of your business associates, clients, contacts, friends and relatives.

Directory names

There is a maximum of 100 entries in your Directory. Names are sorted alphabetically starting with their Þrst character. If you want your Directory sorted by the last name, enter the last name Þrst. If you do not enter a name, the Directory record is sorted by telephone number. The Directory records with only a telephone number are numeri- cally sorted at the beginning of the Directory.

Saving numbers and names to the Directory

To save a new number and name:

1.Press K.

2.Press J.

3.Enter the number using the dial pad. You can enter a maximum of 24 digits. Note: If you require a pause (for

example, between a telephone num- ber and an access code), press O where you want the pause.

4.Press K. Only the number is stored at this point.

5.Use the dialpad to enter a name. (See

6.Press K.

7.Press N.

To save from the display:

1.Ensure that a number is on the dis- play.(For example, access the Redial List or the Callers List).

2.Press K.

3.Press J. If the name is dis- played with the number, both are now saved in the Directory.

4.If no name is displayed, you are prompted to enter one. If you do not want a name, go to step 5. To enter a name, use the dial pad. (See
