Your telephone does not record incoming calls until you

Learning about the lights

The set indicator light also alerts you when another extension is on the same line you’re using, the telephone rings, or a feature is on. There are also indicator lights beside the line keys and Pto show you the status of the lines and of Handsfree and Mute.
