TAM Settings

Rings to Answer

This is the number of rings after the answering machine takes an incoming call and plays your outgoing message. You can select from 2 to 6 rings or toll saver mode. If you select Toll Saver, the unit answers after the 2nd ring if there are new messages waiting or after the 6th ring if there are no new messages waiting. To change the ring number:

Using the Base:

1.Press under the word Menu on the screen to display the main menu list.

2.Press or to scroll to TAM setup and then press under the word Select.

3.Press or to choose Ring number and then press under the word Select.

4.Press or to choose the answer rings (2, 4, 6, 8

Rings or toll saver) and then press under the word Select.

Using the Handset:

1.Press under the word TAM to display the TAM main menu list.

2.Press up or down to scroll to TAM Settings and

then press under the word Select.

3.Press up or down to scroll to Set Ring and then press under the word Select.

4.Press up or down to select the answer rings (2, 4, 6, 8 Rings or Time Saver) and then press under the word Select.

Record Time

Using the handset, you are able to select the recording time limit for messages. You can select from 1 minute, 120 seconds, 180 seconds or unlimited. If you select unlimited, the message can continue to be recorded until the memory is full. To select the record time:
