Restore Default Announcement(s)

1.You must use the base to restore the default announcement(s).

2.Press under the word Menu on the screen to display the main menu list.

3.Press or to scroll to TAM setup and then press under the word Select.

4.Press to choose Outgoing Msg and then press under the word Select.

5.Press or to choose Erase OGM and then press under the word Select.

6.You will hear a confirmation beep and the recorded OGM is now deleted and the original default message returns.

Message Options

Answering Machine Volume

When listening to your messages through the base, adjust the volume by using the Volume Control V- or V+ on the right side of the phone. When listening to your messages through the handset, adjust the volume by using the Vol+ or Vol- keys on the left side of the handset or up or down on the navigation key.

Screening Calls (only the handset can intercept the call)

1.When the answering machine answers the call, listen while the caller leaves a message.

2.To speak to the caller, pick up the handset and press

(If you have Auto Answer ON and your phone is in the

base, you will still need to press after picking up the handset).

The answering machine automatically stops recording when you activate the handset.

TIP: Make sure the volume on the phone is set loud enough to hear your incoming callers.
