SETTING UP YOUR ANSWERING MACHINE

TELEPHONE ANSWERING MACHINE (TAM) OPERATION

Speakerphone Reminder: Press under the word Back from any menu to return to the previous screen. Otherwise, after 20 seconds, the phone will automatically return to the main screen from any menu if no key is pressed.

Handset Reminder: Press under the word Back from any menu to return to the previous screen. To return to the main screen, press . Otherwise, after 30 seconds, the phone will automatically return to the main screen from any menu if no key is pressed.

The answering machine will hold up to 15 minutes of messages and can be accessed from the phone or from a remote location.

Turn On/Off

This section shows you how to set up your answering machine to receive incoming calls. Before you begin the set up process, you must turn on the answering machine. To set this feature:

Using the Base

1.Press under the word Menu on the screen to display the main menu list.

2.Press or to scroll to TAM setup and then press under the word Select.

3.Press under the word Select to access TAM ON/OFF.

4.Press or to choose between ON/OFF to and then press under the word Select.

Using the Handset

1.Press under the word TAM to display the TAM main menu list.

2.Press up or down to scroll to TAM On/Off and

then press under the word Select.

3. Press up or down to select Off or On and then press under the word Select.
