Handset seems to have a short battery life

1.Check the charging contacts.

2.Make sure you have installed the correct batteries (Never use alkaline batteries! Only AAA NiMH rechargeable batteries should be used).

3.Consistently short battery life may indicate that the batteries need to be replaced.

No audible ringer

1.Make sure the ringer is not turned off. (pages 28-29, 56-57 )

2.Check the volume level of the ringer. (pages 28-29, 56-57)

3.Verify the AC adapter is securely plugged into the AC outlet and phone.

4.You may have too many extensions on your line. Try unplugging a few a devices.

Visual ringer and vibrating handset will not activate

1.Make sure the visual ringer and vibrating handset function is turned ON (page 57).

No amplification

1.Check to see if the Amplify button is ON. The red light should be lit (page 35, 61).

2.The AC adapter is required; make sure the AC adapter is plugged into the wall and into appropriate jack on the phone.

Low handset or speaker volume

1.Check the receiver or speaker volume settings. (page 35-36, 61-62)

2.Can’t be heard by other party

3.Check that all phone cord connections are securely plugged into the phone and wall jack.
