Making calls using the phonebook

Before using this feature, store the desired phone numbers and names into the phonebook (page 13).

1Press {k}.

2Press {e} or {v} repeatedly to display the desired entry.

3Press {C} or {s}.

Hot key (quick dial)

Assigning an entry in the phonebook to a hot key

Dial keys {1} to {9} can each be used as a “hot key”, allowing you to dial a number from the phonebook by simply pressing a dial key.

1Press {k}.

2Press {e} or {v} repeatedly to display the desired entry, then press {>}.

3Press {v} repeatedly to display “HOT KEY REG”, then press {>}.

4Press {v} repeatedly to select the desired dial key ({1} to {9}), then press

{>}.

L If the dial key is already assigned as a hot key, the displayed number will flash.

5Press {v} repeatedly to display “YES”, then press {>}.

L To register other entries, repeat from step 2.

6Press {ih}.

Erasing a hot key

1Press and hold the desired hot key ({1} to {9}), then press {>}.

L “CLEAR” will be displayed.

2Press {>}.

3Press {v} repeatedly to display “YES”, then press {>}.

4Press {ih}.

Note:

L The number erased from a hot key will not be erased from the phonebook. To erase from the phonebook, see page 13.

Making calls using a hot key

1Press and hold the desired hot key ({1} to

{9}).

L You can view other hot key registrations by pressing {e} or {v}.

2Press {C} or {s}.
