Base unit settings

Changing base unit PIN (Personal Identification Number)

The base unit’s default PIN is “0000”.

Important:

L If you change the PIN, please write down your new PIN as the unit will not reveal the PIN to you. If you forget your PIN, consult your nearest Panasonic service centre.

1Press {j}.

2Press {v} repeatedly to display “SETTING BS”, then press {>}.

3Press {5}.

4Enter the current 4-digit base unit PIN.

5Enter the new 4-digit base unit PIN.

6Enter the new 4-digit base unit PIN again.

7Press {ih}.

Adjusting ringer volume

4 levels (high to off) are available.

1Press {j}.

2Press {v} repeatedly to display “SETTING BS”, then press {>}.

3Press {2} 2 times.

4Select the desired setting by pressing {1} for low, {2} for medium, {3} for high or {0} for off.

5Press {>}, then press {ih}.

Setting recall time

Change the recall time if necessary to suit your PBX or service provider. For further information, consult your nearest Panasonic service centre.
