Auto talk

When this feature is turned on, you can answer a call by lifting the handset off the base unit or charger without pressing {C} or {s}.

2 Scroll to “Initial setting” by pressing {V} or {^}, then press {Select}.

3 Scroll to “Auto talk” by pressing {V} or {^}, then press {Select}.

4 Select “On” or “Off” by pressing {V} or {^}.

5 Press {Save}, then press {OFF}.

Note:

L If you subscribe to Caller ID service and want to view the caller’s information on the handset display after lifting up the handset to answer a call, turn off this feature.

Flash time

Using the handset

The flash time depends on your telephone exchange or host PBX.

You can select: “90ms” (milliseconds), “100ms”, “110ms”, “250ms”, “300ms”, “400ms”, “600ms”, or “700ms”.

1 Press {MENU}.

2 Scroll to “Initial setting” by pressing {V} or {^}, then press {Select}.

3 Scroll to “Set tel line” by pressing {V} or {^}, then press {Select}.

4 Scroll to “Set flash time” by pressing {V} or {^}, then press {Select}.

5 Select the desired time by pressing {V} or {^}.

6 Press {Save}, then press {OFF}.

Note:

L The setting should stay at 700 ms unless pressing {FLASH/CALL WAIT} fails to pick up the Call Waiting call.

L If PBX functions do not work correctly, consult your PBX supplier for the correct settings.

Line mode

If “Line in use” on the handset and

BS” on the base unit are not displayed properly, the line mode selection is incorrect. Set line mode to “A”.
