Cause/solution

RThe handset has lost communication with the base unit. Move closer to the base unit and try again.

RUnplug the base unit’s AC adaptor to reset the unit. Reconnect the adaptor and try again.

RThe handset’s registration may have been cancelled. Re-register the handset (page 32).

RWhen No link.is displayed during a power failure, place a handset on the base unit to supply power to the base unit.

RThe supplied telephone line cord has not been connected yet or not connected properly. Check the connections (page 9).

RRecording was too short. Try again.

RPhonebook copy failed (page 22). Confirm the other handset (the receiver) is in standby mode and try again.

RThe receiver’s phonebook memory is full. Erase the unwanted phonebook entries from the other handset (the receiver) and try again.

RThe phonebook memory is full. Erase unwanted entries (page 22).

RMessage memory is full. Erase unwanted messages (page 38, 39).

RThe call barred list memory is full. Erase unwanted entries (page 31).
