1.Talk - answers or places calls

2.Mem - stores or recalls numbers in memory

3.Vol/ringer - sets the ringer or earpiece volumes

4.Microphone

5.Talk/batt low - LED indicates when phone is in use or the battery is low

6.Trans (Model XSA660) - transfers call to the other Handset

*6. Rdl (Model XSA650) - redials the last number dialed

7.Flash - access to call waiting (if waiting)

8.Numeric key pad

9.Chan - selects another channel for clearer reception

10.Rdl/pause (Model XSA660) - redials the last number dialed

*10.Pause (Model XSA650) - adds a timed pause in a memory dialling sequence
