TROUBLESHOOTING & REPAIR

RETEST AFTER REPAIR

Retest a machine :

If it is rejected under test for any reason that requires you to remove any part which could affect the machine’s electrical charac- teristics.

OR

If you repair or replace any electrical components.

SET UP

1.Connect a supply of filtered compressed air at 80 psi to the gas inlet.

2.Supply 15 to 110 VAC to the machine.

3.Connect the gun to the connector block and connect the trigger.

 

OPERATION VERIFICATION

WIRE FEED SPEED (Standard)

50 through 700 IPM

WIRE FEED SPEED (Ext. Torque)

50 through 400 IPM

VOLTMETER (Analog)

..............Must read Inpit Voltage +/-2%

VOLTMETER (Digital)

Must operate at 3 TO 12 VDC input volts

GAS SOLENOID

Must operate when Gun Trigger is activated.

CONTACTOR

Must operate when Gun Trigger is activated

 

or after Pre-flow time if Timer Kit is installed.
