SAFETY PRECAUTIONS
Read and understand this entire section before operat- ing the machine.
WARNING
ELECTRIC SHOCK can kill.
•Do not touch electrically live parts or electrode with skin or wet cloth- ing.
•Insulate yourself from work and ground.
•Always wear dry insulating gloves.
•Read and follow “Electric Shock Warnings” in the Safety section if welding must be performed under electrically hazardous conditions such as welding in wet areas or on or in the workpiece.
FUMES AND GASES can be dangerous.
• Keep your head out of fumes.
• Use ventilation or exhaust at the
arc, or both, to remove fumes and gases from breathing zone and general area.
WELDING SPARKS can cause fire or explosion
• Keep flammable material away.
•Do not weld on containers that have held combustibles.
ARC RAYS can burn.
• Wear eye, ear and body protection.
