6.Tighten the guide assembly lock bolt to secure the setting.
7.Loosen the thumbscrew on the support bear- ing adjustment shaft.
8.Use the knurled knob to position the support bearing approximately 0.016" behind the blade, as illustrated in the figure below.

Tip: To quickly gauge this setting, fold a crisp dollar bill in half twice (when folded tightly, four thicknesses of a dollar bill is approxi- mately 0.016"). Place the folded dollar bill between the support bearing and the blade, as shown in the figure below.

To adjust the upper and lower blade guides: |
1.Make sure that the blade is tracking properly and is correctly tensioned.
2.DISCONNECT BANDSAW FROM POWER!
3.Familiarize yourself with the blade guide con- trols shown in the figure below.
