Operation Safety
Damage to your eyes, lungs, and ears could result from using this machine without proper protective gear. Always wear safety glasses, a respirator, and hearing protection when operating this machine.
Loose hair and cloth-
ing could get caught in

hair away from moving machinery.

Regardless of the con- tent in this section, Grizzly Industrial will not be held liable for accidents caused by lack of training.
Operation Tips
Your safety is important. The tips below are intended to supplement SECTION 1: SAFETY. But remember, no safety list can be comprehen- sive of every situation. The operator is ultimately responsible for their own safety, as well as the safety of bystanders. Every cutting operation is uniquely different and may require safety equip- ment or safety procedures not mentioned in this manual.
Please follow these tips EVERY time you use your saw:
•Stand to the left of the blade
•Turn OFF the saw and allow the blade to come to a complete stop before removing the
•Make sure that the riving knife is always aligned with the main blade before cutting.
•Always position the blade guard to the correct height above the workpiece.
•Carefully plan each cutting operation to avoid injuries.
•When you release the sliding table lock, make sure that the knob is positioned so that it will not lock the table during a cut.
