Clean Up

The exposed, unpainted surfaces of the machine have been coated with an oil to prevent rust during shipment. This oil needs to be removed before operation. To remove the oil, we recom- mend using a solvent based degreaser. Avoid using any chlorine based solutions because they will damage the painted surfaces. Always follow the instructions of the product being used.

Do not use gasoline or other petroleum-based solvents. They have low flash points which make them extremely flamma- ble. A risk of explosion and burning exists if these products are used . Serious personal injury may occur if this warning is ignored.

Do not smoke while using solvents. A risk of explo- sion or fire exists and may result in serious personal injury.

Many of the solvents com- monly used to clean machinery can be toxic when inhaled or ingested. Always work in well-ven- tilated areas far from potential ignition sources when dealing with sol- vents. Use care when dis- posing of waste rags and towels to be sure they do not create fire or envi- ronmental hazards.
